Lunken Airport

Cincinnati–The Ohio River has flooded numerous times, and all have been serious. But, the Great Flood of 1937 was so severe, it flooded Cincinnatiโ€™s Lunken Airport, causing great damage. Today, Lunken Airport serves the business community and general aviation, while frequent flyers fly from CVGโ€”the newer Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport located across the Ohio River in Northern Kentucky.

Alms Park

CINCINNATIโ€”Alms Park sits on a bluff overlooking the Ohio River and the Little Miami River watershed. Itโ€™s not the largest park in Cincinnati, but it is one with a wonderful view.
