Cincinnati Observatory

The world is aware of the Cincinnati Observatory because its Astronomer, Dean Regas, is the co-host of Star Gazers, a weekly filler program on more than 100 PBS stations. But, it has much more history than that.

โ€œThe Cincinnati Observatory Center is known as โ€˜The Birthplace of American Astronomy.โ€™  It houses one of the oldest working telescopes and was the first public observatory in the western hemisphere.โ€

Cincinnati Riverfront

CINCINNATI, OHIOโ€”City leaders have been working hard on redeveloping the riverfront with parks, businesses and living. Itโ€™s a destinationโ€”a place to do things, or just watch the river traffic pass by. The Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals both have stadiums on the riverfront. These images were taken in July, 2010.
