Cincinnati Observatory

The world is aware of the Cincinnati Observatory because its Astronomer, Dean Regas, is the co-host of Star Gazers, a weekly filler program on more than 100 PBS stations. But, it has much more history than that.

โ€œThe Cincinnati Observatory Center is known as โ€˜The Birthplace of American Astronomy.โ€™  It houses one of the oldest working telescopes and was the first public observatory in the western hemisphere.โ€
